Notes from an ex Fetus
Don’t mean to be too serious here, but ran across an article that I thought really put a different perspective on the controversial subject.
Sonia Sotomayor–Her Racist Remarks
Ok, I held off as long as I could before I joined in the fray about BO’s nomination to the Supreme Court of the United States. The media is orgasmic (as usual) about her humble beginnings as a Puerto Rican immigrant growing up in Brooklyn NY. How sweet. And don’t forget she has diabetes and will show empathy. A woman of “color” has finally been nominated which just makes me want to weep with joy. Never mind that the media virtually ignores her judicial qualifications (or lack thereof). The NY Times endorsement never once mentioned a specific ruling she was involved in but referred to her humble beginnings and ability to show empathy all throughout the article. She should be disqualified to sit on the highest court in the...
Obama and Pro-abortion
BO was once again in the news for his speech at the Notre Dame graduation in which he called for us to reach “common ground” and “talk with each other” about abortion. Why? Does anyone really believe BO is going to compromise on his pro-abortion rights viewpoint? Not on your life. His objective is to move conservatives to middle ground of compromise. Does anyone in their right mind believe that his new nominee to the supreme court will try to reach common ground with those who oppose abortion? This is another chink in the armor of conservative values. We’re witnessing before our very eyes and ears one of the last bastions of conservative voice (Catholic Church) for the unborn life slowly disintegrate. Most of the...
Graduation Day!
Graduation day! As most of you know my younger son graduated from law school this past Saturday. Besides the customary platitudes, thank you’s to parents and faculty it was an exciting day (never mind that the valedictorian in her speech, attributed a passage in the Bible, “to whom much is given, much is required”, to, get this JFK! Dumb Dumb. Liberals will stop at no expense to worship fellow dems even if it means stealing from the Holy Bible. It was Clint’s day and I was the typical proud father of his accomplishments. Opportunity lies ahead. What he will do with his degree is now up to him. It’s cost me an arm and a leg, but so be it. Aside from the typical sentimental breakdown that I usually display at these...
We’ve Been Had
I can’t predict the date or the time but at some point the honeymoon will be over. And when it’s over, this charade is going to come crashing down. Right now BO enjoys all the adulation of a pop star. Even though some people don’t like all of his policies, even those surveyed say they like “the man.” He has a way about him that is captivating and mesmerizing. But I am not alone in my observations. Debra Burlingame is the sister of the pilot who was flying American Airlines flight 77 that crashed into the Pentagon 9/11. Given all the developments since our meeting with the president, it is now evident that his words to us bore no relation to his intended actions on national security policy and detainee issues. But the...
The Real Extremists
I’m tired of hearing the deceptive and misguided refrain from democrats, mainstream media critics and party minions that in order for republicans to bounce back they need to be more “moderate.” Recent evidence demonstrates the exact opposite. Was John McCain moderate enough for you? Obama himself (and many other democrats) was elected in part because he “appeared” to move more to the center. He talked a good “centrist” game. Words from him and other politicians are meaningless without actions to back it up. In fact, we must only look at this administration’s actions and turn a deaf ear to the verbal rhetoric. We need only look at comments he made In his most recent prime time news conference last...
