The temperature is actually dropping.  Check out the evidence.  Yet inspite of the evidence, the Obama administration recently disclosed that they are knee deep into “geoengineering” the climate.  John Holdren said one option would be shooting pollution particles into the upper atmosphere (an artificial volcano) to reflect the sun’s rays away from earth.  Once again, no I couldn’t make this stuff up.  As usual, industrial countries around the globe are falling short on pledging to slash their carbon emissions so the US will be made to finance these wacky ideas on our tax dollars.  Obama recently apologized to Europeans about the arrogance of the American people.  But really, how arrogant is it to think that we can manipulate and...

Been in the hospital lately?  Well I have and it’s no picnic and Doctor House was no where to be found.  I’m convinced they tried to kill me several times by puncture wounds, IV’s that ran out, IV’s that infiltrated my arm, and lab technicians trying to stab me without realizing their partner in crime had just left the room with what seemed to be a pint of my precious life’s flow.  On my first day, the cheery nurse wearing what appeared to be a jogging suit (in case you don’t remember in ancient times they appeared in starched white uniforms and caps) gave me my sleeping pill at 8am.  Then at night when I couldn’t sleep because the patient in the next room had died and the family was screaming in the halls, I asked for...

Maybe it’s your trip to the local Dairy Queen in your area, Baskin Robbins, or Ben and Jerry’s, but in Philadelphia and surrounding areas, the first day of spring is celebrated by long lines at Rita’s Italian Water Ice.  For those of you from the hinterlands of the south and west, Rita’s Water ice resembles micronized, fruit flavored, shaved (snow cones for those of you in Tennessee and Georgia) in a cup, with a spoon provided at no charge.
